Survey Purpose
The Houston Galveston Clean Cities Coalition and H-GAC need your help to better understand the fueling needs in the region by completing the 2019 Annual Vehicle Survey. This survey looks to help us better understand the population of Traditional and Alternative fueled vehicles and equipment used in fleets throughout the region.
Survey participation helps document the current and future needs of the region and support H-GAC and the Houston-Galveston Clean Cities Coalition’s efforts to improve air quality and expand the use of cleaner advanced vehicle technology. Better documentation also helps H-GAC apply for grants to create financial incentives that benefit our region’s fleets. This includes the newly allocated $31.8 million in Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust funding and that will provide the region with many unique opportunities in the coming years.
Additionally, the Houston-Galveston Clean Cities Coalition collects data on fleets and activities within the Houston-Galveston-Brazoria region in order to fulfill the Coalition’s responsibility to track the number of fleets using alternative fuel vehicles so we can annually report the millions of gallons of gasoline that are displaced nationwide as a result of this alternative fuel use.
